Understanding how to configure, then access Salesforce using MagicEndpoint and the MagicEndpoint IdP can be split into two areas of concern:
1 - For Administrators: Configure SalesForce Access using MagicEndpoint Server/IdP-based Authentication and SES Client Configuration settings
2 - For endpoint Users: Configure/Access SalesForce using MagicEndpoint CLIENT Authentication

Note: Most large customers will install the MagicEndpoint client software using software deployment tools such as SCCM. Where this is true, follow the link in the next section.
Since SCCM installs software using the System account, the installation of MagicEndpoint is interrupted before it is able to create a Key File since it does not know who the real user is during the process of installation.
